I used to be a big weaboo until I was 21 (I'm currently 26). I chose to study graphic design because "I could draw manga desu ^__^" Everyday wore anime shirts, jeans with hand painted cherry blossoms and dragons, and even dared to bring failed attemps of bento at college. Attended anime and cosplay meetings frequently and keeped a "how to draw manga" msn group. Notebooks, portfolios, pencil boxes, everything was covered with animu stickers. I always acted like a 13 yr old girl living in a shoujo story, spending tons of money in useless cute crap.

My beloved grandma died when my weaboo phase reached its peak. I was really shocked. Reality punched me in the face. I suddenly realised how fucked up was my life back then, with no actual friends, spending parent's money, no job, failing grades, no self steem, no social skills.

I still wonder what the fuck was I thinking all those years.
