Hi /cgl/, I mostly browse this board for the cosplay part but naturally see a lot of stuff about the lolita fashion too. It's piqued my interest but I live in a rural redneck area and there's no way I'd feel comfortable walking around in all-out lolita. Plus I'm a college student whose biggest financial priority right now is tuition and books and shit.

So I'm wondering if it's common for girls to just carry/wear a couple lolita accessories without the dresses and socks and petticoats? And is it some kind of faux pas if a "non-lolita" does that? Maybe there's a specific term for this that I'm clueless of. I dunno, I just admire the fashion a lot and don't want to do anything disrespectful or something I guess.

If you have pictures of people accessorizing like this, that'd be great too. Thanks!
