And for comparison. This is Chocolate Fascinate Fairytale, direct from Baby. I've had this dress since 2011 or 2012, and yes, it was worn a lot in those five or six years. This pink version is my favorite and I wore it to go shopping on weekends quite often in addition to lolita meets.

It may be unlined, but the print is not flaking off or showing white dots. The pink lace is still pink, the ribbon is still stiff. This dress has been worn so many times, been through the washing machine so many times, I’ve lost count (fyi the care label says to dry clean it, but I kinda put it in the washing machine a few times when I was in a hurry. Wouldn't make a habit of it, but it's less damaged than any of the newer taobao, so that's something).

I can still pull this out of the closet and show up to a lolita meetup tomorrow in it without worrying that it’s six years old, whether it looks shabby or like it’s fading apart. I’m not even sure how many of my taobao dresses I could do that with six years from now. That’s what I’m judging quality by, and so far none of the taobao dresses have made it that far.
