Someone asked me to end an auction early before. It just pissed me off because they kept barraging me with the same question over and over again and then acted like it was my fault they didn't win the auction.
And THEN that person tried to make me feel bad about getting more money from another buyer?
What the heck man.

Anyways, don't do this. It's a big annoyance.
