I disagree. Every single item on your person should be lolita or fit the aesthetic, from your purse to your socks to your jewelry to your hairstyle. The glasses are no exception, while they are a medical device that doesn't separate them from the fact that they are also considered a fashion accessory. If it doesn't match your aesthetic it's gonna look bad. People are saying that we shouldn't care but if something looks bad it looks bad, it has nothing to do with "caring" and everything to do with having eyeballs. Also glasses do not cost more than a typical secondhand dress on LM. Google says the average cost of eyeglasses without insurance in the US is $150 (and can be even cheaper online). There is no excuse to just pick a nicer more flattering style next time you have to update or just remove it from your face for five fucking seconds.
