Why not just tell your family exactly the difference? Just tell them and your cousin you're not into age play and that this is purely for you an aesthetic endeavour because you like the neo-victorian style of dress and you have no interest in children's play or acting a different age. Women are so complicated sometimes. I'm sure your family would be relieved to know this and it may perk some interest from your family members to ask genuine questions because they wouldn't feel uncomfortable asking about it knowing that it isn't fetish/kink for you.
