Let's try something different this time:
The idea of a Homestuck cosplay masterpost has been thrown around for a while, but no one has ever compiled a bunch of stuff together. The only recent exciting stuff these threads have had was drama filled stories, though they were entertaining.

So, how about this? Let's give suggestions for various things. Links or suggestions for wigs, glasses, tutorials on paint and different methods of paint, same with horns, links to contacts... And it'd have to be up to at least one person, or hopefully more than one if a lot of people are contributing, to compile this all up and put it into a post, perhaps a pastebin or a Tumblr post. Homestuck cosplay help blogs have halted and even have outdated or broken links, and though blogs like CBC offer advice and tutorials, it'd help to have it all in one place.

The aim of this is to have a reference post so that if anything is needed, the masterpost can be referred to. Need Dirk glasses? Check what the post says. And what I'm requesting for this thread is for people to give their personal experiences. Find a good wig that works with a character? Know of an easy or inexpensive method of doing horns? Share your stories. There doesn't need to be one sole way of doing things either, the more suggestions the better.

What do you say?

Regardless, we can always discuss:
> Would you rather buy the triangular shades from an online store or make them yourself for a Dirk Strider/Bro Strider cosplay?
> Do buck teeth for the Prospit kids ever look good at all?
> What do you think of humanized cosplays of things like the Consorts, Denizens, or even the Planets themselves?
