In the meantime I'd like to request some cute computer desks like pic related. I've pondered the mystery of how to have a computer monitor and/or tower that isn't ugly... cute keyboards and mouses are usually easy peasy to find.

You can also try hunting at local secondhand/thrift stores, but it isn't guaranteed you'll find what you're looking for. I've seen some great stuff from Goodwill and sometimes desks go for really cheap depending on how banged up they are and if you're willing to restore it or keep the weathered look.
