I feel you.
I just gave up on a friend. She's straight up said before that she doesn't want to hear me talking about my depression. She can't handle it.

She doesn't really have me on priority. I shouldn't be upset about that, since she's a really busy person, and it's fine for your friends to have other friends. But it just hurts when weeks and sometimes months go by, I hear about her spending time with her other friends twice a week, and I never hear anything from her.
It's okay to be busy, but is it too much to ask for a text every so often that asks how I'm doing? I'm always the one who initiates an invitation, and she's often busy with legitimate things.She's got a lot going on and I get that, but I still get lonely. I only have one other friend besides her.

If I was reading this, it'd sound like she was someone who just wasn't interested. But when we do spend time together, she's always gushing about how much she likes me and she always speaks highly of me when someone brings me up in other conversations (or so I've heard).

Maybe it's her ADD? Maybe she just has the habit of "Oh, I have free time. Better call up this friend and that friend." Since they are closer to her, one has known her since they were kids.

I've always thought of her as very nice and I don't think she's trying to do anything to spite me. I'm just tired of waiting. I'm tired of being forgotten.
