unfortunately lolita is fast fashion with cheap fabric and poor construction mostly made in china, we just pay for the prints at this point..

>lolita culture
pick your poison of larpers or gossipy hags. i guess not mutually exclusive. the larpers are either teenagers who don't even wear the fashion yet, or young adults that shoulve gotten into historical reenactment instead. the toxic shit talkers are late teens/early twenties girls that think they're in a popularity contest against eachother, and the aging spite driven women that got bullied in highschool and now live to pit younger prettier girls against each other in social cage matches.

>looks and clothing or certain mindset/is it counterculture/is it feminist
mindset is important for some fashions/cultures but I think our society has progressed to the point that the rebellious aspect is no longer a factor, basically anything goes and everyone is allowed to be whatever they say they are, if they look the part. subcultures have been commodified and sold off, and it's mainstream to be pretty accepting of everything now, you might look like an autistic retard for wearing lolita but the only people that are going to bully you for it are other lolitas.

it was really unique to be able to dress extremely feminine and still be rebellious; most nonconforming fashion is a lot edgier and more masculine, so it's kind of cool that a woman can be so frilly it's unacceptable, where femininity is usually inoffensive and docile. i think that modern femininity has pushed women to become more like men in every way, when it should be a celebration of femininity and not a movement for butch bull dykes and tranners to bastardize what it means to be a woman as badly as the west bastardized lolita.

>are there certain behaviours and values you connect
i basically learned to shop secondhand and DIY everything from lolita, and it has carried over into all other aspects of my life.
