Just venting here but arghhh it finally happened, I got the dreaded 【集运】很抱歉,您的包裹因拆单发货原因无法正常入库,请速与佳成集货商联系 message on my Mu Fish order.

I didn't buy any of their replicas but perhaps JCEX flagged the seller? I sent an email to their CS and am crossing my fingers for this to be resolved soon.

and now i know never to feel bad for someone alone at a con again

Ah I can only imagine my deco friend gets just as much shoved into her ask box daily. It really is frustrating. I have a lot of supply/pricing info stored to help people with --but if it relates to how I do my own business-- nope! It's not in our best business interests to divulge pricing of our own materials or where we get them. So for those that DO give them, that's completely out of their own kindness. /rant

I guess it's our comm's turn to have a crazy girl. The worst we've had were cheap weebs, but they've quieted down since people stopped answering.

A younger-looking girl posted a picture of herself earlier, and mentioned she "liked this bow, and notice her crazy colored eyes." Okay whatever. I just check tonight and she's posted the classic "It's not lolita but I'm proud of it" ensemble, which is of course poorly put together. Then mentions she's trying to look less pregnant. I go to her page and she's 19 and has visible self-harm scars on her arms...

Though, it was embarrassing cause it was super crowded and I was just standing there, rubbing the middle of my chest with a paper towel...and then trying to angle myself under the hand dryer. Fun times.

I've called the hotel several times, nobody has seen anything. I really should've secured that thing to my wig better. But seriously, it's like the dress is cursed, I'm afraid to wear it out now.

I ordered a CP bell petti from a seller and received the A-line instead.

Not looking forward to dealing with this (mainly cause I'm so terrible at it). It's a fantastic petti...but I'm tired of having to fold up an a-line for rectangle skirts.

there's nothing wrong with liking the design, the beef I have is that the whole idea behind the characters was that specifically they did not describe them so that each individual listener could come up with their own ideas. I love this idea, it promotes creativity and imagination and basically each character belongs to You.

But nope, tumblr decided to take

and turn it into a tall thin attractive guy with white hair and tattoos all over himself, tattoos that the actual voice actor has.

Which is basically a huge bitch slap into the entire idea of the characters and hampers people coming up with their own ideas because if you post something that doesn't fit in with the 'canon fanart' (what an oxymoron) you are berated and abused.

it's just a cop out that is undermining a great idea and irritates me. It also irritates me that people want to run around a con dressed as characters from a show with no description so they can be 'recognized' as if they need an asspat from people. Because, like you said, 'no one will recognize me!' so yeah, it is about attention for you, it's not just about the show.

... and I don't even like the fucking show, I just love the ideas fostered by the presentation, so I support it.
