The only way I can see this working in a way that is reminiscent of j-fashion, would be to go down the kinda 'high fashion and out there' route.

The girl that make the skirt seems like she's having fun experimening though. I quite like to see people having fun dressing up, but then guess I still have a bit of a 'kid with a dressing up box' outlook when it comes to fashion (for better or worse!).

I shamelessly nicked zebra anons skirt clip for this so I could give it a go.
