Hold me, gulls, I'm so excited. I've been so absolutely giddy about this that it's taken me all of my willpower not to randomly scream. I've already got my dress picked out, and we've picked out a beautiful secluded lakeside location to have it and we've ordered over 50 dozen roses to decorate the entire event. I still haven't gotten around to designing the cake, but a local bakery said they could get little figurines of the hubby and me to put on top of the cake, and in my dress. Every day has been flying by, and it's like being in a dream. Every day I just keep thinking about >tfw no cosplay/lolita gf and how incredibly lucky I am to find such an amazing man and such an amazing comm that's willing to help me with my wedding plans. I hope all of you find someone wonderful that you're ready to spend the rest of your life with, that loves you and your hobbies!

I know quite a few people who got married two years in, and the marriages are long lasting and healthy. I asked my parents why they got married a year and a half into dating, and they couldn't explain it other than they just knew.
