Exactly. Any fan of Poison Ivy knows she's a temptress so the cosplay choice is not surprising. However, Snow White? Really? Yaya is so pathetic now. The logic behind her hypocrisy hurts my head.

We all have one so let's take the time to vent. There's this girl in my cosplay friends group that I'm only friends with because of the rest of the group. I'm getting really sick of her asking for advice from me then totally shooting down whatever I say. Let's call her K

K: I need to make this weird dome hat, what should I do?
Me: Paper mache a playground ball and coat it with gesso and sand it till smooth
K: Too much work, I'll just gut and paint this big styrofoam hemisphere. But now the finish is all lumpy. I'm gonna spray it with acrylic sealer!
Me: Aerosols will just melt the foam
K: We'll see. (shit melts)
K: Oh well good thing I have another hemisphere.

K: I have to get this design on the jacket somehow and it's way too advanced for me ot embroider or applique. I'm just gonna paint it on.
Me: Try these tutorials for using contact/freezer paper for a stencil. It'll make those details either to nail than if you free-handed
K: Looks like it'll get too smudgy, I'll just freehand it.

K: I need to build a con-safe katana with a sheathe? Which of these shtty plastic toys should I use as a base?
Me: None. Here's a nice wooden katana and sheathe on amazon for $24 that can be easily repainted.
K: Too expensive I'm getting the plastic toy.

At this point I'm just gonna not say anything at all where she asks for advice. I've been cosplaying for 7 years and she's been doing this for maybe 2 at best. At this point I'm just gonna let her learn by continuing to fuck things up that I warned her about.
