Quick question HSG, in canon Jade's blue dress has two layers of ruffles.
But in a lot of fanart, people put three layers of ruffles, I guess because it looks better.

Which should I go with? Would canon look better or would three layers look better?

Can someone please please please help me? I'm trying to find the right fabric to use for a Jade eclectica + Squiddle accesories cosplay and I can't figure out which type of fabric to use for both the blue dress and the red jacket. Any recommendations? Shiny or plain fabric for the ruffles?

I'm cosplaying as Jade Harley in this ensemble for a December con and I haven't had any luck finding fabric that's right for both the dress portion and the jacket. Can any of you guys give me the most appropriate fabrics to use so I don't fuck it up by using costume satin/etc.?
