/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I'm at lost of where to start the wig like this, so far I sewn in wefts and did a tiny bit of trimming. Maybe I should get a curling iron and try to do big curls with it? I'm afraid of going at it with the got2b freeze spray...

Finally got my wigs in from jcpunk (ebay), and they look great!

These are my first, one of which I'm hoping to style something like pic related for my Sable (Animal Crossing) cosplay. More about the slight curls and soft spikes, and in layers. I don't know if it's possible to give the wig that much fluff volume or if it's just the illusion of hair just looking very fluffy.

I think I got most of my materials down. I watch and read about different tips about curling with a curler, hot water (I don't think I'll do that method), got2b glued gel/spray, etc... I hope this won't turn out to be a mess, it's the one wig I got in and I don't have time to reorder another for Sakura Con.

just googled layer cut. I'd go with something like this. And then you can just decide on how stylized you want the hair to look, depending on wether you want more natural hair or sharp, "cartoony" spikes. I usually look up kingdom hearts cosplayers for references on spiky hairstyle wigs.
Oh and do something more fun than sideswept bangs for sable.
