You obviously haven't visited /fit/- there's a whole world of 'nohomo' man love out there, mirin' gains and judging lazy ppl. It's nothing new, the culture of body worship has been around since the days of Greece and Sparta. In America you probably only encounter it in gyms, but the culture is growing.

It's just me but I think a person should cosplay a character they like or at least find humorous.
