I bought a skirt from To Alice a long time ago and never wore it. I finally had an outfit in mind for it, but then I noticed that it had an ironing "stain" of melted fiber smack in the front of the skirt (I thought it was glue at first, until I saw the shape of the burn).

It's too late to contact the store about it, so is there anything I can do to make the burn less shiny? I looked online and it wasn't very promising. I think the fabric is polyester or a poly-cotton blend.
