read through the seller's egl/fb post again, and through all PMs exchanged. did the seller state anywhere, that the shipping was a quote and not an exact amount?

tell her she didn't mention it, and the amount you agreed upon for shipping was $____. no need to explain that shipping was pricey for an inexpensive item, that's not the focus point, the problem is that she did NOT mention the shipping was merely a quote, and remain your stance that the amount agreed upon was ___. if the seller is nice enough and sorry about it maybe you can offer to pay half the difference. otherwise she really has no case. if she's a bitch and tries to guilt-trip you or turn passive aggressive, tell her you sorted your finances carefully in advance, and you've spent all your lolita money for the next two months and you can't afford to spend any more at all, since what you paid for was well within your spending means in the first place.
