When I cosplayed as Snake, I had to shave for a job interview a few days before the con, so I just wore facepaint.

Granted, since it was the Zombie facepaint, some people thought I was from Call of Duty, but at least it's not like this one guy I know whose cosplay of Snake is, I shit you not, THIS:
