Anon, this card was so thoughtful and lovely (and you have beautiful penmanship!). I loved the tiny window into your life from your letter, and am so touched to receive both such a beautiful card as well as the story behind it. I'm going to put it on my bookshelf so I can look at it and dream of one day being able to travel again. I've never been to Paris, and your description has bumped France much farther up my list of hopeful destinations now. I think we're all crossing our fingers for a "happy new year" after everything about 2020, and this gift is sure to bring me just that luck. As you can see I couldn't stop from eating one of the candies before I even took the photo and the others quickly followed, and I adore the little keychain as well?? It's scented! I'm going to be the envy of my labmates when I come back with cuter stationary supplies than them after the holidays :) And the seagull band is so cute and fitting! I'm going to use it to keep my day planner from opening and the pages tearing in my purse :) I didn't see your number in the card (this is 6800 again), but Merry Christmas to you!!
