you're very cute, classic suits you well. I think you should pay attention to the proportions of an outfit as well as colourblocking. this coord looks unbalanced, due to the bold patterns on the lower half compared to just black on top, and the legwear + length of the skirt doesn't flatter your legs like it should. some thin black tights would look much better, perhaps with a subtle design or texture to them, or just frilly ankle socks. you're really gorgeous and if you're new this is a pretty good start! I want to see you wear an oldschool country style coord cos I bet you'd look adorable~

I think a common problem with noobs (including myself at one point) is not knowing how to dress for your shape in lolita, since it's so different from normie fashion. Also, placing thought and care into the garments you buy, not just being overcome by the cuteness of a particular thing you really want. you have a wonderful figure though so I'm sure you'll work it out!

It's at the very least inspired by oldschool classic, or that's what I assume she was going for. Yes it uses some modern-looking accessories but it's still a lot closer to older street snaps and magazine shoots than to the modern definition of classic.
