Ugh gosh when relatives do that shit when they KNOW it's embarassing.
I dyed my hair black for Mikasa cosplay (I have nice full hair of the same style as her and didn't let it get stringy or greasy before wigfags call me out) and I went over to my great uncle's place with my jerk grandma:
>typical old people "haven't seen you in a while" "she looks like her dad huh" when suddenly
>"Yeah see she dyed her hair. Guess what for? Anon tell him why you dyed it."
>"It was...for a convention in winter...like a really nerdy thing for people who like animation and video games."
>"No tell him."
>"...like, anime...Japanese animation...?"
>"...Jyapaneez."
>he just kinda sits in silence like usual

She is still so racist against Germans, Japanese, Koreans, basically everyone who was in a war when she was a kid. But she's totally accepting of gay people. So thanks CNN and her nature to go against the views of everyone else her age in this southern Ohio town, I guess.
