I'm sad. I'm a lolita and a gull and I don't want to be aligned with people who are (ironically) so narrowminded about gender.
Becaused I'm so tall and broad for a cis female, I grew up often being denied femininity. It was tough as a pre-teen but I got more used to it in high school. Anyway, discovering classic lolita in my early twenties opened up a whole world of gender performance that I always wanted to dabble in. Feminine, maidenly, dripping in careful and expensive details...
I believe every person who genuinely loves the fashion and puts in the work should be able to participate.
the language used itt is so gross.
I know a lot of us have the 'tism, myself probably included, but is the reliance on schema so important that you can't fucking train yourself to not only tell the difference, but allow for a difference between disgusting predator fetishists and actual lolitas who grew up presenting only in masculine fashion?

am I wasting my breath on summer?
