A lot of cons actually are starting to have a cosplay repair station. I know for sure ALA has one, and I /think/ AX has one now too? I'm not so sure.

But even if they don't, if you see me at a west coast con and your shit's busted, just ask me and I'll let you use my repair kit. I've got glue guns, safety pins, paints, tapes, all kinds of little things that could help you.

Maybe I've just become so used to long waits, but the fact that I only had to wait for an hour and a half tops on Saturday morning was a blessing to me after having to wait 4+ hours at other cons in the past. I did think the whole "sorted by first name" thing was really silly. Luckily they found my group's badges pretty quickly and we got the heck outta there.

As usual, it was the people that made the con for me. I didn't really meet any seagulls this year but the gatherings were great and I enjoyed just being out and away from home for a weekend, heh heh.

Programming wise, it was... meh? Not bad, but not amazing either. But, you gotta make the most of it and I still had fun regardless. Dealer's room was definitely disappointing this year though, but that's just me.

Overall I give my Fanime experience this year a B-

Kotetsu is both very easy to mess up, and very easy to pull off. If you put in all your effort and make his simple outfit shine, you'll be golden! I just get kinda miffed when I see lazy Kotetsus when there's really no reason for it, you know?

I don't mind so much the Kotetsus who're pretty good with some minor imperfections. It's the ones who wear the ill fitting clothes and ratty wigs and poorly painted hats that bother me.
