Are you by any chance Dutch, since you are dressing up for Carnival next month? If not, somewhat ignore the stuff below.

If you are anything flammable, non breathing or expensive would be a bad idea. Also, something not washable, because a night would amount to smoke and beer everywhere. Also, remember you need to go to the toilet, which also rules out something intricate

You can kitbash some cosplay from Canival stores and transform those costumes into something worth while. That lego one in the op is nice, but it won't last a night.

Any shows or games you are in to?

I myself am just going for a horsemask and a modified "Napoleon" costume because I don't want to destroy my expensive stuff.
