nayrt. I'm into sets and have done it a lot (my biggest regret is actually not picking up the one and only matching wrist cuffs for my first dress, AP never reused that lace again and now it's just a hole in my lolita heart).

Even AP makes a lot of wristcuffs specific to one release, for eg this one has crowns and chocolate squares, at that time it would only be Chess Chocolate that has both themes. It's just that sometimes a theme gets popular enough and AP gets around to releasing something else with similar theme, and then you can reuse the wrist cuffs for that. It's really no different from picking up a whole jewellery set that only goes with one dress.

(If you want wristcuffs that go with different things, AP also releases logo wristcuffs that aren't tied to a specific release)
