That's somewhat inaccurate. I realise the style has become more popular with kids recently because it's cute as well as easier to run and play in (not because kids are short), but the more "correct" style has always been the traditional style, pic related.

Although I think for >>7840603 it probably won't matter, hey, if your sis likes it, just get it for her and let her play with it.
