I really hate this stereotype because more often then not the person your accusing actually knows their shit. I know plenty of people who've been in the same boat. Even I've been caught not remembering a name, or an armor type ect. on the spot while drunk at a con, but because I have my tits hanging out I'm labeled as a 'fake gamur gurrl', from other fucking catty bitches. Fuck that shit and talk to me when I'm sober. No one ridicules men when they fuck facts up, then proceed to push their personal views onto them. Before you start jumping to conclusions maybe get to know the cosplayer first? But then that'd be too much effort on your part. Fuck the lot of you for turning this into more of a con game for lards who get off on these kind of accomplishments.
