I generally hate dreads on all people, but I've seen a few woman who look good with them (did a quick google search for decent examples), both white and black. I think it helps when people make sure it looks like they're still taken care off their hygiene and over appearance and it's still style-able and your hair can still fall down properly.

Problem is many people who get dreads don't do that, and look super messy and gross.
