maybe it's just because she has fat all around, i think normally there's going to be some stomach fat but when you are stocky like she is and have some chub in a lot of places it evens out. plus if you have fat everywhere on the stomach, even not such a thick layer it's probably going to look smoother. i'm not super thin but i've always been kinda thin, i'm 21 and just now staying around 122 or so, and i'm 5'8", i was around 112 last winter and i always have some stomach fat.
workin out seems to help, it's about your muscles holding themselves up too i think. plus it's good for you~
plus you can always tighten up for pictures, i think most people fake it at least a bit, don't feel bad : )
