I think the other anons have answered this pretty well, but I thought I'd show you this monochrome spread from Risa's stylebook!

(And I mean I'd happily do a massive monochrome photodump if people wanted that, as well)

I think Risa also has a dress with this print; she wore it in the Kawaii International episode, but I couldn't find a good pic.

And yeah these are all my examples. There tend to be some in the spring/summer volumes, #15 in particular. They're mostly pretty boring though.
