Yeah, really activates my almonds thinking about why that is.

Relevant though, since I was fairly young that experience is what made me realize a few things.
>Approaching less attractive people (to me) wouldn't make things work out any easier.
>If they find you attractive or not doesn't depend on how attractive they actually are, it's completely random and if you're not working for them it won't happen.
>Women don't tend to compromise as easily as men.
>You can't control how people react to you, or if they think you're a creeper or not.
>Don't ever expect a hookup to be "secured" or not until it's already happening, despite what people have told you in advance or if they give off all the right signals.

Also rant incoming on why attempting impromptu con hookups can suck.

Bit more on the last two greentext points, I'd only met her at the con for two days and she asked to take a shower in my room at like 3 AM after we hung out at the rave. After she was finished, I asked her what she wanted to do, and she asked if it was okay to crash in the room too. She then grabbed a pillow and sheet off the bed and laid down on the floor. I asked her what she was doing and I said "I thought we'd share the bed." To which she said "Oh no, I wouldn't want to inconvenience you!". Basically she bummed the room, cockblocked me from getting with someone else, and got my hopes up, but she was also a friend of a different group of my friends so it isn't like I could make her leave without repercussions. I immediately figured out she didn't want to do anything from what she told me then and just left her alone, but that didn't stop her from telling the other group of friends that I "acted creepy". Sometimes you just can't win.
