Progress on my second go at the Bakuzan blade blank. I've gotten way better at spray painting, especially compared to my first one. Candy-coat finish just like I wanted, and has an intense [blinding] glare in daylight, and gold-bar like reflection indoors. 5 clears so far, 3 more to go for total of 8. Wet sanded between all coats.

Sure, I could've just re-purposed a Rukia or other white katana like everyone else, but eh, what's the fun in that. Also wouldn't be to my specs, and con safe since it's wood.

Gonna use the culmination of what I've learned on this to make the scissor blade next. I reckon the scissor blade is way easier since mistakes can be brushed off as detail. Mistakes on a katana on the other hand stand out like a sore thumb.
