I'm making Ran's tails. This is our current solution but it's a huge pain to assemble/disassemble.

The inside of the base of the tails has velcro which attaches to the velcro on the base of the pipe here. We then have to screw in each tail. Is there an easier way to go about this? I was thinking magnets to hold the tails in place instead, but am worried they won't be strong enough.
