>Do any of you wear jfashion/lolita/cosplay daily or just on any day just cause?
I wear himekaji almost every day and when I don't I'll wear aomoji. Trying to get into lolita at the moment.

>How do you find the confidence to do it?
I just love the cute, girly look so much I'll deal with the annoying stares. That and I live in NYC so there's already a lot of diversity with fashion in some areas.

>Does it boost your confidence at all?
Definitely. There are days when I'm feeling like shit and I'll wear one of my favorite coords and instantly feel better. And people say a lot of sweet things about my outfits and it makes me super happy.

>Do you dress it down or not wear it at all?
Not really. Himekaji is already a pretty casual style. Yet some people think my coords look OTT.

>Where do you think the line should be drawn as too much?
When it starts looking like hime gyaru.

I usually wear Himekaji and Aomoji kei and do get stares and such. I'm allowed to wear whatever I want at work (as long as it's not extremely revealing) and I've been working there for about three years. 90% of the customers are regulars and they're always really sweet about my outfits and compliment me a lot. Outside of work I haven't gotten anything horrible enough to scare me out of wearing cutesy styles. The worst negative reactions are usually from middle aged women. They usually look me up and down really rudely or roll their eyes at me. I don't mind, really, as you're not going to please everyone so I don't even bother.

What I have noticed is that whenever I wear pigtails and thigh highs (or those mock thigh high stockings) I get a lot of older men hitting on me. It's an extremely reoccurring thing and it gets really creepy at times but I love cute fashion so much I just deal with it.

But I'm not going to say "JUST WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT AND FUCK EVERYONE" because it doesn't work like that. Everyone's different. Some people, like myself, feel safe and comfortable in different fashions and some people feel extremely exposed and anxious.

>but is it really acceptable to wear overly cutesy and "different" things casually?
As long as you're keeping to yourself, you should wear whatever you want.

Oh yeah. Look at these whores. They're so slutty. Wow.

It'd be funnier if you could at least spell the brand correctly.
