It's been my favorite thing for 14 years. I'm 25, so let that sink in.

A friend of mine in college asked me to introduce him to it because he thought it would make him more "cultured." I told him that word doesn't mean what the thinks it means but I guided him through it. I've coached several of my friends from college through the franchise over the years. They're all engineers so I get some great technical questions from them.

One of my oldest friends is a poet, so we talk about the characters and themes all the time.

These kids were all just cracking jokes about Kaworu being gay (you know that it isn't sexual, right?) and all of these god damn awful tumblr memes about it. I don't know why I keep subjecting myself to gatherings like this, I just end up getting upset.
