Where do you think we are? You're in the company of other weebs, who know all too well how it goes and will *spill spaghetti* at one point or another too. 4chan con meetups are full of some incredibly friendly, understanding people. None of these skills develop overnight and the easiest way to not be a sperg or however wanna call it is engaging with folks. Don't know what to say? If somebody dressed as your favorite character, there's your in. They're in a group? Everybody's happy for a photo op and a chance to talk about stuff they usually only get online. It was only for a minute? Better that than no practice at all
