Seriously, good on you for standing up for yourself and your business policies/prices in spite of all that.

It took me years to be confident enough in myself and my quality of craftsmanship to stop rolling over and taking it when people (especially family and friends, because you DO love them and it's hard to tell them no, and even harder when they're jerks about it afterward) come around with unreasonable expectations.
