I am in awe of the idiots screeching ~muh accuracy~ as if these cosplays aren't shit-tier, even without the controversial, dick-move body paint.

Anyone with skill can create a successful and recognizable cosplay of a character with a different racial background than their own !without! altering skin color.
it always looks awful and is an insensitive thing to do. don't interact with the online community if you insist on doing things to royally slight its members. feel free to practice blackface in your home or with your small local group of outcasts, but don't expect the international community to be a homogeneous support if you share that garbage.

I always wonder about the people shouting about how this is unfair. like, do you have friends? does your family like you and communicate with you often? do you have a job at which you're forced to work with and alongside others?
You can't do whatever you feel like or think of, expecting to not get any backlash or consequences.
It's something you learn growing up, unless you're a fucking adult baby.
