>only wear lolita to class when not painting or doing charcoal, even then it's very simple and usually dresses I don't mind possibly getting a little dirty
>teacher tells us we won't be needing any materials for our next class because we'll spend the entire time discussing certain aspects of our next project

>decide to dress up in an op I haven't worn in years
>really happy, it's a pretty light blue color
>show up to class, get a couple of compliments
>notice that there's a person I've seen a few times from the other class that's painting at the back
>guess I looked nervous because my professors told me "don't worry, he'll stay back there the entire class"
>well ok
>get half way through class, stand to go to bathroom
>come back and as soon as I open the door, the painter guy is right there
>I guess I scared him because he jumped back out of my way
>pallet of acrylic paints go flying out of his hand
>try to step back in time
>catches the end of my dress and smears across before landing flat on my shoes
>completely and totally shocked
>start crying
>guy is apologizing, everyone else is up and running over
>teacher runs over, starts trying to get the paint out of the dress
>smearing it across more but that's unavoidable
>guy is yelling that we're overreacting
>I'm still panicking/crying
>my teachers gets all the paint off but there's a large red/blue/green swatch of pressed in paint at the bottom of the dress
>completely heartbroken
>guy leaves without a word, doesn't even say sorry
>go home, change into pjs and spent rest of evening mopping in bed

I know it's just clothes, but goddamn, I think this broke my heart. I don't even know what to do now. Had I known there would be someone else painting in the room, I would have brought clothes to change into or just not worn the op in the first place. I feel like I did everything I could and that this isn't my fault, but he sure made me feel like it was.

I guess it's worth a shot, though. It's not like I have much effort to put into it-- I just need to re-dye some stuff because shit went wrong right before Halloween.

At the very least, he'll be somewhat amused, I guess.

I haven't even called enough to be annoying. When I worked at Gamestop, people would call every day if their preorder was missing.
