I might be alone on this, but I don't like brolitas because they make the fashion into a joke most of the time just so they can get some giggles and compliments. Even when they are passing, and even if this sounds like tumblr levels of feminism, I hate how men have to "invade" everything women do. I don't mind when men where women clothes, it can be funny and cute sometimes, but it just bugs the shit out of me that they can't let girls have even one things to themselves, even though a lot of lolitas wear it as a sort of feminist statement, or just so they don't have to fit into the typical mould of what women should look like. Men can break their own gender roles without having to seek attention in women's spaces. Pisses me off.
