I'm trying to decide if it's worth selling an old costume.

I have this sailor Cosmos costume, it's nice but it has damage (see pic). I think it's still better in some ways than a mass produced costume, but it has damage and kind of amateur fixes in some areas (like safety pins holding one area).

I really don't want to throw it out, but I'm not going to wear it again. Do you think it's worth selling local? My local cosplay sales group looks like a trainwreck though. But I'm worried if I go the eBay route whoever gets it will be disappointed. I already sold one half done thing on eBay recently and I'm so nervous about getting a return. I'm really honest in all the pictures but I'm worried it will just be more than someone expects.

What should I do?
