Hey I've been dreaming about start wearing lolita and finally I started building my little wardrobe... I barely have any pieces yet but Im already having trouble with my friends... they cant believe Im into lolita because its not "like me" and I dont know what to tell them, I mean I like this fashion and I want to dress like this but I they wont approve it because its not being "myself"

Will they get used to it? I really feel insecure when even my own friends wont support me wearing lolita.
And no, Im not wearing sweet or anything too flashy. Just some black skirts, tights, blouses, trying to aim for classical slowly.
