I've done intro to itabag panels a few times before, here's my basic outline (note I use a lot of photos of bags for every example):

What is an itabag?
- A bag covered in march with a specific theme
- Any fandom, even weird ones, can be used.

Itabag Vocabulary
- Base Bag
- Con bag (Base bag filled with merchandise w/o a theme)

Itabags by Region
- Western itabags and common elements
- Japanese itabags and common elements

Base Bag Types
- Window bags
- Bag within a bag
- Bags with a cover
- Bags without a cover
(& brands for all of the above)

Cheap entry level bags that aren’t knock offs and can be found for under $20

Types of merchandise that can be used (and ways to use weird merch w/o damaging them)

Itabag types
- The Shrine
- The Runaway
- The Grape Picker
- The Crafter
- Plus a challenge of showing a bunch of different bags and having them guess the “type”. Best to keep a list of the types of bags on the side or bottom of the slide for this game part.

Places online to find merchandise
- English sources
- Japanese Sources (and proxies)
- Chinese sources (for fanart - and disclaimers about bootlegs)

Embelishments
- Lights
- Rosettes
- Flowers
- Character specific icons
- Diorama Bags

Tips & Tricks
- Backing boards and different materials for them
- Curved safety pins, and methods to pin items in even rows
- Washi tapes (and the dangers of washi on single ply charms)
- Resin doming on stickers
- Plush Carriers (Shame cubes/coffins)

Budgeting & cost disclaimers

Thank you & online resources

How I handle these panels is I keep them uplifting and positive spaces. I never disparage a bag or a kind of bag, even if it's something I personally thing is awful. When I talk about con bags I keep a hard line stance of "Con bags are fun! Itabags are fun! Both are great hobbies, and we have different words for them to make it easier to find communities and resources." For replica talk, I focus strictly on the facts of how it hurts the companies.
