Sorry anon, no matter what brand you buy no matter how expensive, pleather will peel, crack and fray. I recommend you look for knit/cloth purses instead. Coach and Isaac Mizrahi both put out bags like this regularly. Pic related is the material I'm talking about (I have the same print in a crossbody bag, not for lolita obv.).

I suggest you hunt your local TJ Maxx at least once a week for bags and I'm sure you'll find something suitable sooner than later. Pleather/vegan leather, no matter how "good" the brand, will look like shit eventually and is not worth the investment.

There was a really good thread ago about brand bag alternatives. Maybe you can dig it up in the archives - there were a lot of great suggestions (leather and non-leather) in that thread.
