We've just discussed this not too long ago.

How is this after a single gentle wash good quality? Instead of claiming anon is only picking out the worst why not list an actual good quality brand? From what you're saying it should be incredibly easy to list several off the top of your head.

I thought the purple one was one bad dress, if you can get a dud from burando, you can get a dud from taobao too, right? I originally wanted red anyway, so I bought this red one off someone else, since it’s pre-worn, the first thing I did was wash it, right.

Hoboy. See the two white dots on either side of the pointy cross? The thread there is actually white. The waist bow pin had been there, and although I could probably get the hold to close up, the threads had twisted so now there’s white thread showing there instead of red. I don’t even know which thread to pull to get the red threads to show up there instead of having two white dots there now.

Also look very closely at the waistline. That’s not camera artefact or shine. Those white dots are bare white fabric, I don’t know where the red print has dissappeared off to, or how to get them back.

Now I know why girls are so nervous about washing their lolita. I’ve washed many burando dresses (some of my burando are worn every week and then I put them in the washing machine in a laundry bag. Same thing I did for this dress). I’ve seen dye run, but this is the first time I’m dealing with washing causing the print itself to disappear, leaving behind a dress with white spots. And the whole thing is so delicate, no wonder girls stop washing their dresses altogether.

Still love the dress, but goddamn this breaks my heart.
