A bunch of my friends got the money together to buy me Juliette et Justine's Robe de Celadon for my birthday/college graduation. I wore it in the PMX fashion show in 2013 and completely fell in love with it, so when it was put up for pre-order I was pretty upset that I couldn't afford to buy it.
Them doing that really made me realize how much they valued me as a person, and my boyfriend contributing a good chunk of cash to it really helped me understand the extent to which he accepted and appreciated how I dressed. Previously I had always been really nervous about whether or not he meant it when he said he liked it because he's a pretty conventional dresser.
