I do think the obi is too dark for that kimono, it’s very light and airy comparatively.

I think the obi is fine, it just might be hard to make more versatile because I feel like you would have to build a wardrobe around it.

Pic related has a dark striped obi, I’m mostly looking at the color combination because everything else about her is a disaster.
