As I was afraid of, the magnets aren't strong enough to keep the haft together when you're holding it in any position other than straight upwards... so that means I'll have to completely revamp the design of it, and there isn't enough time before Ohayocon for that. On top of that, I'd stopped work on Kyoko's outfit in order to get the spear done in time, so it looks like I'll have nothing at all done in time for Ohayocon. Fuck.
